Brighton SEA LIFE centre is approaching a very exciting time in terms of new developments for 2012. These new developments will include extensive renovations and refurbishment as well as 2 new features. Due to the extent of the works, I would like to announce that the attraction will be closed from 31st October 2011 until early 2012 inclusive. Ticket sales from your venue will need to be suspended during this time, and visitors that purchase tickets in the weeks leading up to the closure will need to be clearly informed that 30th October will be the last day that they can be redeemed. The centre will be celebrating its 140th anniversary next year, so as you can appreciate, restoration works are due to restore the Victorian architecture back to its former glory. Our admissions area and educational facilities will be sporting a brand new look for 2012 so that guests will be immersed in the Sea Life experience from the moment they enter the attraction. In addition to this, there will also be 2 new areas – ‘jelly disco’ will feature different species of jelly fish and a ‘behind the scenes’ tour which will be the biggest development and allow visitors to really see what goes on in our back of house areas.
